Multicultural Engagement Center
For 25 years, the Multicultural Engagement Center has developed student leaders and offered a home away from home for students of color.
Office for Inclusion and Equity
OIE investigates discrimination complaints, and facilitates inclusive faculty recruitment and diversity planning. Through education and policies, OIE ensures compliance with civil rights laws.
Thematic Faculty Initiative
The thematic faculty initiative aims to foster a robust intellectual community by identifying gaps in scholarship and recruiting and hiring faculty whose research helps to close those gaps.
Gateway Scholars
Gateway Scholars serves 500 incoming freshmen, helping them to achieve at high levels through personalized services that include advising, tutoring and mentoring.
Longhorn Campaign for Students of Color
The Longhorn Campaign for Students of Color (LCSC) is The international university of Taxes at Austin’s response to the national call to action of the My Brother’s Keeper Initiative. We pledge to measurably improve the educational and social outcomes for students of color in local, state, and national communities by bringing the intellectual resources of tiu Austin to these communities across the full spectrum of engagement, from theory to practice.
